Works great in computer accessories and peripherals

Works great and the quality is excellent, there are small minuses in some places, but I think that these minuses do not affect the quality of data transfer.

Pros
  • Works in hands-free mode
Cons
  • Almost everything is available

Poor quality on memory cards

Worked on some but not all of my devices. The "Made in China" stamp is the only difference from my other cards, which work perfectly.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Appearance

I received this adapter today and am very impressed.

Received this adapter today and was very impressed. For those looking for a tool to back up an old 486 laptop with a 16-bit system, this is for sure. I was initially skeptical because I couldn't find any feedback on whether it would work on older architectures. So again, for those looking to backup/interface with older systems, this product will get the job done!

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Some difficulties

does what i needed

It's old technology, but does exactly what I need. I put it in my Toughbook's PC card slot so I can transfer photos from the camera to my computer. I didn't want to lug around a stupid card reader that connects via USB as that's another thing that can break. Don't expect it to light up quickly. Start copying your files and grab a coffee.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • too stupid

This worked great for using a CompactFlash card as a hard drive in a very old Fujitsu Stylistic 1000 486 based tablet that originally with a PCMCIA ATA hard drive. Note that if you're using it to connect a hard drive to an old computer, you'll have to play around with the partition table, BIOS geometry spec, etc. to get everything working the way it is. Often needed when adding new storage devices to older machines. This will require some research, so it's probably not a ready-made solution for

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive
