lasted a little over a year, but bought again - worth

I bought the first one in July 2018 and it came with all the rubber bumpers and plugs on the entrances. Was working great until we had a big storm in July 2019. So at that price I bought again. This one came without rubber bumpers and only some of the entrances were clogged. Easy to install and works perfectly. We grounded the old block and this new block so I think it was just a super storm but at this price we can afford to fix it ourselves.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Nothing to say - worked great.

Very easy to install - just connect the 4 wires from the dish to the side with fewer connectors and the DVR wires to the side with more connectors. Then reboot the DVR. Did the whole job in my basement in about 30 minutes. I needed more connections so I could connect 2 wires to each of the 3 DVRs. I assumed something would go wrong on reboot and did this all day, but everything worked great.

Brand new, great price, works great.

use with 5LNB not swm bowl with built in four output multiswitch. I mixed HD and SD receivers. Two SD receivers have an old-style multiswitch between them and this box. Okay, because it's out of power, just put it on the line. All receivers receive a high signal level. Signal levels are excellent, I can't tell any difference between straight off the record or after this switch. I installed it outside and it's been working for a few months now.

Easy to install and works well

This year (January) I added this to my system so I have plenty of HD outputs to stream around my house (I have DirecTV). I used to be able to have a maximum of 4 HD boxes. Now I can do 8 with one of them, which was important to me, especially if I ever decide to make them a DVR. If you really need more, there are some instructions online on how to use them to find the 16th way out. It was easy to install and works great. I've had it since January 2012. I'm happy to wait a bit before writing a…

Saved me a lot of money

I had an old 3x4 multiswitch with a cable going to the basement for an old SD receiver. When I upgraded my receiver to HD, I found that I wasn't getting all of my channels. I called DirecTV and they couldn't help me on the phone and said my only option was to call a technician from home. I decided to do my own research and found the problem was that I had the wrong multiswitch for my new setup. This switch was inexpensive, worked right out of the box and solved my problem. Also, I now have the…
