Keyless Entry Path

Bought a used 2012 Chrysler 200 4 Door with a key. Rolled it like a 2nd key. The local Chrysler dealer cut and programmed it. All functions work. Total cost - $20 for keys + $55 for cutting and programming = $75. This is less than 1/2 what the dealer is offering. So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative experience

Looks and works the same as the original key

What a great saving for me. I needed an extra key and the cost was $155 from the dealer and $125 from Lock Smiths. I programmed this key using my two current originals and paid Ace Hardware $40 to have it cut out. All functions work great so far.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Worked on a 2012 Chrysler 200

This worked great for my 2012 Chrysler 200 Limited. Even the remote start worked. I called a local locksmith to have the key cut and programmed. Only $20 was withdrawn and now I'm ready. I definitely recommend this key for my car model and would recommend hiring a locksmith to set it up for you.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

The easiest way to do this without errors is .

Programmed key today (2006 Dodge Durango) from locksmith, total cost only $60. Dodge dealership wanted $235, all buttons work too. The easiest way to do this flawlessly is to go to a dealership that sells your car, make my car a Dodge dealer, ask for your car's PIN and program code, give it to your locksmith, and in 15 minutes you are done. you're on your way . They will need your registration and ID, take it to the parts department and they will give you the information you need.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Null
