🔮 MARBLEWORKS Deluxe Marble Set by Discovery Toys Review

Very disappointed. We bought it because our old one broke. This new one is terrible. Cheaper plastic and they made the treadmill thinner so regular balls won't work on it, only the small balls that come with it. We also bought a few extras and they don't fit like they should. I expect more from an expensive set!

We were so glad to get this but ended up being disappointed.1. The transparent part in the center of the subject's image was broken and did not rotate half the time.2. There is no "seller" to go to for a replacement part.3. There aren't enough fasteners to use all the large elements. I know, get creative. I have made. Just not enough.4. You can only use tiny beads in this lane. Regular sized balls will not fit. We would have sent it back if it hadn't already damaged the packaging. Pooh!

No balls. Aggravating. Although this was a complaint before, I hoped the promised marbles would be in my set. The set seems to be good. I've always liked Discovery toys, but they don't seem to be as good as they used to be. but I still love her enough. This is a very expensive set due to not the best quality and lack of balls. We tried using 2 regular balloons that we had around the house and they didn't work. It's a shame to put together a new set and not be able to use it right away.

We love this playset. The only annoyance is that if you put all the marbles in at once, the cool hand-wrapped clear glass piece will snag. (I think it would be nice to place all the balls at once?) Also, on a large wrap section, there can't be much on top because there isn't room to attach a support from below to make it stable, so you can maybe just put a piece or so on it. I like the set, maybe I'd stick with the base set as the add-ons are more of a disappointment than a thrill.

Only received Starter Kit and Wild Ride Kit. According to the description there are 3 sets. You also get a lot of support, but few parts that actually make a difference. For example, you only get a splitter and a plug. I bought extra. Of all the sets, I only have one maze and one snake piece. Although the plastic is quite resistant, it makes very annoying creaking noises on hard surfaces. In general, I was completely confused and did not understand. After seeing his baby set at his grandparents house I bought this set for my son. Colors are modern but parts were scratched and stained (cosmetic only) almost as if used despite being sealed plastic (see pictures). Also, I agree with other reviewers' crank issues. Great concept but bad design. When more than one ball comes in at a time, the balls get stuck midway and I called to fix it. Since the splint is also made of a soft material (silicone?), it seems like a matter of time before it…
