The price made me hesitate on this for awhile. Finally ordered it for my kid and it is much bigger and well made than I thought it would be. You can tell it will hold up to tons of play and it looks just like in the game. Went and bought the sword after this too and it's just as great!

Perfect addition to my son's Minecraft collection! It is plastic, not foam, so it is much more durable & sturdier for a 5-year-old "mining" IRL. Prompt delivery & packaged well. Would recommend!

My son received this for his 7th birthday and it was his favorite gift! It’s hard plastic that’s hollow on the inside so it’s not too heavy. He hammers on everything with it so it’s also sturdy.

My grandson liked it but I didn’t like how easily the paint chipped off or that it would be fairly easy to break. Thanks for attention.

I was searching for the foam version of this for my toddler who is obsessed and this came up as a top result when I searched for "foam” version of this and the listing didn’t say otherwise. Well, it’s definitely hard plastic. Not really knocking them for this but wanted to put it here so no one else makes the same mistake as me. I now have a toddler trying to use this around the house and we’ll see what the damage is haha.

I wasn't expecting a genuine diamond pickaxe capable of mining treasures out of our back yard, but after just a couple of days of casual play, there are already chips in the paint, cracks in the plastic, and even small bits of the plastic chipped off. It's a kid's toy, so I get that this sort of thing happens, but being a kid's toy, I was hoping for more durability. Meh.
