I bought this watch for my four year old and this watch arrived with a dead battery. Luckily I have a watch repair kit and was able to remove the case back and put in a spare (type 377 or LR626), but SERIOUSLY? There is also an odd secondary neoprene liner attached to the strap (presumably to avoid irritation), not sure how I feel about that either. i can return it

My son really liked his watch, but after wearing it a few times, the minute hand inside became detached. As long as it is still attached to the center, it does not move to change the time and falls into the interior of the glass under gravity. The company I bought from has a short return policy and to get the Disney guarantee I have to pay $8.50 plus postage with insurance! I already paid too much for the watch. Definitely not worth the cost!

While we love the size of the numerals and the aesthetics of this watch, as well as the way the strap goes and the overall design, I had to deduct a star for durability. Our son is four and a half and he wanted watches like his dad and he's obsessed with Disney cars. It seemed like the perfect watch! However, our son is very active and playful and the dial didn't hold up. The photo shows what he looks like after only wearing it 3 times! Very shabby. He needs better scratch/scratch resistance.
