Stable version 1.4 for audio and video accessories

We are using a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor with a resolution of 5120x1440, 240Hz, 30-bit color and HDR. By my calculations, this is similar to 8K UHD (7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz, 30-bit color and HDR). This is at the high end of DP 1.4 and wouldn't be possible without DCS. I have other DP 1.4 cables that don't fit DP 1.2 monitors. I had to go through several brands to find this cable and so far it has been solid and consistent. I have 8 of these and they all work great.

Extra Thick Cable

It is approximately twice the thickness of a typical braided DisplayPort cable. It also means it won't be the most flexible thing on the planet. If you play with a higher resolution and a high frame rate, this is a very good option. I'm using it on a 1440p panel at 165Hz. It might be a little overkill, but it handled it with no issues. Also very happy that it has no hooks to fix it. I've only ever had problems with these things. Overall very happy with it for the price.

Problems with monitors with high resolutions and high refresh rates? This cable can handle it!

I recently purchased a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. This is a 5120 x 1440 @ 120Hz monitor and I'm having trouble with the cable that comes with Samsung. This acted as if the signal was muted and degrading over time. Permanently disconnects

This cable provides an intermittent connection only. My display kept falling out with this cable connected. I checked that both connection points are set correctly and tried different ports. Even with the SMALLEST physical hit on the cable, the signal disappeared. I even tried connecting this cable to other cables (with velcro straps) for extra support, but even that didn't eliminate the problem. Put in a cheap cable and NO problems. 4K, 8K Display Port 1.4 - Consistent 4K 75Hz quality

This monitor only runs at 75Hz, so I cannot vouch for the cable at higher load levels of 4K 144Hz or newer 8K monitors. The picture was sharp and clear, and there were no signs of problems with accelerated video. So I'm curious if anyone with DP 1.4 capabilities as well as higher refresh rates can test it out.
