I like it. - Needlework

I like to embroider a cross on a Christmas tree. I tried different fabrics, plastic canvas and perforated paper. This is my new favourite. It is more flexible than plastic canvas, making it easier to sew without the need for sewing to complete the ornament. You can simply back it with flannel or whatever you prefer.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Frequency

Craft Vinyl Aida

I've recently started using DMC Vinyl Aida for small cross stitch projects and I have to say how much I love it! It's durable, the sides don't fray and it looks like regular Aida fabric! It's a little quicker for my smaller sewing projects, and although I can (unaccustomedly) poke the needle, it's easier to embroider because the holes are made with ease. I will definitely be getting more of these closer to decorating season!

Pros
  • It's Amazing
Cons
  • Some Mistakes

Very durable and easy to work with

I was glad to find this at Revain as I can't always find it locally. I use this to make Christmas gift tags and it's just perfect for this app.

Pros
  • 12" x 18" panel
Cons
  • Damaged

Unique and much easier to use than perforated paper

I made flip flops with tags and switched to this vinyl. It was easy to work with him. Not so fragile. easier to clean. Definitely worth trying. Now I just need more flowers!

  • vinyl paper can be cut, shaped or folded and will never unravel.
Cons
  • I don't remember
