Avoid this Electronics

This product has only worked sporadically. Often produces no response when connected to my computer. It's also getting hot, very hot. Maybe it's not the product, it's the nvme hard drive I installed. Although it worked long enough to load some of the files onto the disk and access them again, it wasn't read. Thinking there was a problem with nmve itself, I removed it from the case and installed it on my computer. where it works perfectly. The only explanation is that the circuit board on this…

Mine is VERY slow, why?

UPDATE 10/27/19 : The seller sent me a new unit and it works fine. My transfer speed is now 929 MB/s to my SSD. As for the heat issue others have reported, I haven't had a chance to heat it up enough to test it yet. ------ I tried this case with two different NVMe SSD devices and connected it to three different Windows 10 PCs and two Macbook Pros. In all cases it is mounted normally. The problem is SPEED. This case offers a read/write speed of only 40-50MB/s. This is a universal performance…

Does what it should.

I trust that with my 970 evo and have not been disappointed yet. It's a fairly solid chassis, but it's small enough that its size adds to the rigidity. It definitely helps draw heat away from the SSD (you can heat coffee on this thing), but I'm afraid it also turns the case into an oven. I'm not sure if there is a solution to this problem, so I just leave the ends and flip it up; hence convection can help with cooling. If it were a permanent case I'd still consider an expensive NVMe, but for…

Great M.2 NVME SSD Enclosure

This sleek metal enclosure encloses your M.2 NVME SSD and allows you to connect it via a USB Type-C port to a USB 3.1 port. You can easily switch to USB-A if you want. The case is solid and the logic board does what it should. A mounting screw easily holds the drive in place. The small end screws in the case (did I mention they're tiny?) can be a little tricky to put back on, so be careful not to pry them off. I am very happy with this price. Highly recommended.

Transmission rate slower than expected

I attached this to a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 512GB NVME SSD1. This device also works with the thermal pad HOT2 connected. This device is SLOW. This unit is twice as fast as my non-nvme DMLIANKE case with a 512GB Transcend SATA III SSD. I'm still using H2TestW but the write speed is only 105MB per second. the device without nvme showed a write speed of 217 MB/s and a read speed of 318 MB/s in the same test. //www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MSQMGLT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1…

Quality product as usual

I have been using DMLIANKE M.2 SSD enclosure for a while now and haven't had any problems so far. I chose the NVME case as I needed the Samsung 970 Evo anyway. Testing via a Thunderbolt port (Late 2018 HP Specter x360 13.3-inch (first Gemcut)) yielded around 1-1.1GB reads and writes in CrystalDiskMark for sequential reads. While the case doesn't push the NVME drive to the max, it's decent enough for a portable solution. The build quality is decent and I really like the shape of the case. It's…
