DMM Dragon Cam Climbing

My first set of Dragon Cams that I bought from Amazon. I am very happy with the DMM Dragon cams because they are easy to use and durable. I love the retractable rail that is built into these cameras and have not had any issues with it so far.

Pros
  • Carabiners and Quickdraws
Cons
  • Weak

Dragon Cam 6 is good for outdoor activities

These cameras are lighter than Camalot, have the same range and an extendable strap. What's not to like? This is a really good camera for free climbing. Although I've personally never had any problems with it.

Pros
  • Camping
Cons
  • Crumpled

When I'm doing alpine stuff, where singles probably just need a light attitude, I go with the Dragons. The Dragon cameras cover pretty much the same area as the C4 and (thank goodness) use the same color scheme. Some are concerned about the lack of a thumb loop. I never noticed. That means they are placed well and easily. I think they are a little…
