Great tool holder! top

I use it on a tree climbing line to hold my chainsaw. It takes pretty good handling and still looks new. Great tool holder!

Pros
  • gate valve has two positions; Open and lock manually
Cons
  • Strap

Linemaster Approved - Ice Tools

I bought to replace a broken portable tool I usually use to store wrenches and a skin knife. Wire gates are good for one-handed operation without looking. Quality parts and beautiful finishes. I had to remove a lot of material with a file to fit the harness' thicker leather, but the Caribbean harness height fits my typical harness width well.

Pros
  • Raised rib allows tactile identification of gate position, eliminating the need for visual inspection.
Cons
  • Good but not great

It's hard to top their coolness and practicality.

I wish they would accept slightly higher and thicker saddles. NOT a huge complaint because they are incredibly versatile. Sometimes I can't install them exactly where I want. Perhaps this is more of a complaint about the saddle/harness design. I also have a hard time remembering which way to face to open/lock the gate. I think wings or color coding on the knob/dial would be a pretty nice improvement. It's almost impossible to turn and lean to see the symbols when you're in the saddle. Finally…

Pros
  • Tensile Strength: 3 kN (674.4 lb), Maximum Load: 67.4 lb. (0.3 kN)
Cons
  • Problems
