too small for bolt holes, wrong side for lower radiator outlet, not suitable for v8 chevy replacement with 1977 jeep cj7.

One inch too small for my '79 Jeep CJ. Transmission cooler 1/8" intakes are pretty small for a Turbo 400. Probably need an extra transmission cooler. UPDATE: Ripped the damn thing out, went back to the stock fan and radiator, which cools better.

I bought this when I was in Afghanistan for my 1980 CJ7 Jeep. I returned home last year and went back to work after surgery due to deployment issues. Now that I'm recovered and ready to work on my Jeep, I open the box and realize it doesn't fit my Jeep.

My mounting holes on my 85 cj7 are 26 1/8". Also wrong. If it would fit the width it would have affected my power steering lines and the holes would have to be drilled differently, total Waste of time as delivery wasn't on time either.

Cooler overall, good welding quality and fairing. You can't beat the price. It was found that the fan motors had broken off the outer mounting rings. I was late with the delivery so part of that was due to the cold weather I live in. The replacement fans came with no problems and were an upgraded version; The webbing where the spokes meet the outer attachment ring was much stronger and flared to increase strength. Mounted on a 1979 CJ7 crawler with padded AMC 360. The radiator looks well put together with quality welds and finishes. The fan hood is well made. It contains the transmission cooler in the bottom of the radiator. The cooler is about 3/4 inch too narrow. I had to add a few grommets on one side to reach the mounting screws. The electric fans are weak and the motors become noisy after about 5 hours of operation. Looking for other better fans. The motor started to get hot under load on climbs or…
