Not without problems

MacOS Big Sur version 11.4 dual monitor support is questionable at best. One of the two monitor ports goes black several times a day. Maybe it will come back.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Doesn't work well with laptop accessories

When the ethernet cable is plugged into the docking station, the connection keeps dropping. When connecting a keyboard and mouse, they sometimes no longer work either.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Modern

Great dock, best so far

I love the functionality, out of all the docks this one was the best for my needs (functionality and input). I chose VGA over Displayport because I had that. I have two complaints that all USB ports (including C) charge devices relatively slowly and get a bit warm.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Periodicity

Overheating destroyed USB-C port on TWO laptops

After I bought one of these it worked well enough so I bought another one. After setup/testing, the second dock wrecked the USB-C port on TWO laptops in less than 5 minutes. The end of the cable that connects to the PC became too hot to touch within a minute. I used the included cable to connect the docking station to the PC and the premium Selore USB 4 cable was used to power the docking station from a suitable power source. I never write reviews, but I've never had two very good laptops…

Finally a docking station with a long cable

Compact design with lots of ports. I really like the included USB-C cable. The cable is long enough that I can move the laptop away from my desk so as not to clutter up the space. Most other docking stations have cables that are too short for my comfort. I can use both monitors with the HOST2 connector on the dock. USB keyboard, mouse, webcam and Ethernet work. The docking station can work without power supply. If you want to use the AC adapter, you must connect the dock to an external power…

Ethernet keeps disconnecting

When I first got it it fitted my new Dell Inspiron 14 5410 perfectly. Worked well and was a great size. Unfortunately, no power supply is included. I had to buy a USB-C power adapter separately. However, for the first two weeks it was a great buy with no issues. Worked exactly how I wanted it. Even charged my laptop. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, the network went offline and reconnected. I always go from wired ethernet to wifi and then back to wired ethernet. Thinking it might be caused by…

I bought this because I was tempted to upgrade with an internal SSD. I used to use a cheaper equivalent and thought I could display four screens at once as advertised. Not right. First you need to make sure your computer is compatible or has the right graphics card for it. If you don't do this, you won't see 4 screens. The second night I used it, I transferred data from the internal hard drive to an external storage connected via 3.0 ports and it just completely crashed when I removed the…
