So surprised at how much it helped! We used it to nap in our backpack and play at grandma's. While not completely opaque, the added darkness helped our 7 month old sleep much longer than usual, even at home! I'm so glad I took the risk and went with this cheaper option.

I saw a tent that cost a lot more money and tried it instead... it was worth it! Once you've tied it to your backpack and ready to play, you can fold it up without taking it off - simple and light, dark yet breathable. Savior. Much easier than darkening the room with shadows. Also, a child can't see Mom and Dad walking in the same hotel room (and I don't trip or stumble in the dark).

Easy to set up, although the straps are a bit annoying. My baby sleeps great with him and we travel a lot. I leave the top open and then turn it on its side so they can't play with it all night. I might be a little concerned about airflow if the whole thing has been zipped up for an extended period of time, but you do have the option of unzipping the bottom instead of the top.

For those who expect a pitch black finish.1. It will not be sold because it is pitch black. 2. This is 75% black polyester fabric. 3. You are trying to choke your child! My main complaint is that the cover wasn't long enough or narrow enough to prevent light from reaching the short sides of the pack. I just fixed it by putting a blanket or towel over the two short sides.

Worked great in an RV for a week! We put our 11 month old to bed and locked him in his little room. Since it was hot, we placed a small fan between the lid and the backpack and let the air circulate further. An added bonus was that it kept the mosquitoes away! Pretty decent quality, we continue to use it for the occasional nap and will be shipping in the forthcoming first night. A great tool for creating a dark room!

My 18 month old daughter likes to sleep in total darkness. That's what makes traveling so difficult. This was recommended as a cheaper repeat shadow option, so I gave it a try. We've been on a month-long journey in our van, hotels, and various homes, and this thing saved our sleep! The only annoyance is that our Pack n Play has rounded sides so the ends don't go all the way down. I improvised to make it work but for what we paid I'm happy. I wish I had this for my first child!
