🐶 Doggles ILS Chrome Canine Eyewear Review

This is the second size I have tried on my 28lb Boston Terrier. First I tried the original little dogs, they were too narrow, squeezing his eyes and apparently batting down his eyelashes a bit. I've read that ILS is for a wider nose bridge and bulging eyes, they fit much better but with very little gap in the outer corner, but they don't break, they have a thicker pad around the eye frame part. so there is more space between the eyeball and the glass. Got this for my french guy as he likes to stick his head out of a car window but quickly comes back with watery eyes. I thought it would help with wind irritation and tinted lenses would be great for sun protection as he's starting to get sun spots on his eyes. The lens was cracked. A Doggles spokesman said it just couldn't be, "the lenses are shatterproof." I disagreed and sent photos of the broken lens but received nothing. Back then, I couldn't find smoke-replacing lenses anywhere. We went for amber ones but the dog doesn't seem to mind. We had to adjust the doggles to fit and then sew the straps together as they kept slipping out of adjustment and becoming loose. They need a much better buckle/adjustment system. I like these glasses but my dog doesn't. However, she gets smiles all the time for wearing them and people even stop to take pictures of her every day. They were recommended to me by my dog's ophthalmologist.
