Huge size for medical supplies and equipment

It's a well engineered and superior design without a doubt; However, the small size was nothing short of ridiculously large, even when the straps were adjusted to their shortest length by my professional doctor. I'm a petite woman (5ft 1in, 110lbs), but these straps are still so long that even my medical assistant remarked that a person twice my height would have a hard time finding the right one to find a fit with it. The pillow is quite long and wide, causing it to "swallow" about half of my…

To cut off your hand, there's robotics. For everything else, there's that.

You know, for a shoulder surgery that gave the hospital almost $50,000, you'd think they'd send you home with a better bandage than a whale- Mart special purchase for $10. I tolerated it for the first few days, but my arm kept slipping out of the sling, it felt like I wasn't being supported properly at all. . Of course I think the Empire should go ahead and include this as a free gift for their medical staff with that much money and yes I think over $100 for a substance is absolutely absurd but

Interestingly, my physiotherapists and I ordered this bandage separately - we both knew I needed to replace the bandage I got after my shoulder surgery as it broke in less than two weeks. Oh how I wish my surgeon would give me this bandage! I love this sling. It's well designed, durable, nicely finished, long enough for my long arms, easy to use, keeps my arm in the sling and overall a great product! I firmly believe that my new bandage will last another two months before I can use my shoulder…

This is a really fantastic sling. I ordered this before my second rotator cuff repair. It solves so many problems I encountered on the other shoulder the first time. Not only does this sling shift the weight of my arm to the side of my neck, which can be pretty awful after a few weeks in a sling. This strap distributes the weight of the arm between the side pocket, waist/hip and the opposite shoulder. it's brilliant This strap keeps the forearm and elbow in a protected, padded socket. Even the…

A huge improvement over what the hospital offers!

I recently had major surgery to replace my right shoulder and luckily it was a complete success! My biggest complaint was that the sling provided by the hospital was poorly constructed and all the weight and thrust of my hanging arm was on my neck. Terrible! I kept tugging and even tried numerous seat belt pads and other items to alleviate the pressure point. Every day after wearing a bandage around my neck for many hours, I felt really, really uncomfortable and desperate! I was very happy when

Really convenient and easy to use!

I recently had rotator cuff surgery and got a brace from my insurance company which was horrible and very uncomfortable. I decided to look for another brace on Amazon and MY OH MY! This bracelet was amazing. it is soooo Comfortable and easy to wear all day and sleep in. My surgeon required me to wear and sleep in a corset all day, so of course it was important for me to have something comfortable and this brace fitted that perfectly. I'm 5'10, 147 pounds and I bought a large because I have long

Innovative strap reduces neck strain

UltraSling IV I liked the fact that the support strap wraps around the opposite arm and helps reduce the strain on the neck that occurs when wearing a wrap around the neck can. I wore a cheap hospital bandage after dislocating my shoulder and it caused neck pain with constant use for about a week. The intravenous infusion prevents the belt from putting pressure on the neck and cervical spine. Also, a dropper allows you to wear a cold compression sleeve as you can see in the picture, and the…

DonJoy UltraSling IV Support

The sling turned out to be MUCH better than the one they gave me after surgery. Adding a strap under the armpit of the opposite arm is incredibly helpful. The buckle system is much easier to put on and take off than the simple double velcro system of the included sling, which made a big difference as the frequency of putting on and taking off the sling increased. My only criticism of the design is that after some wear and tear the forearm has tipped down, the arm has tipped down and the…

THE BEST SIDE I'VE EVER USED - HANDS DOWN

If you're going to have rotator cuff or shoulder surgery, this sling is essential! It made my life so much better for the six weeks I had to wear it after my surgery. I can't say I've tried or tested other slings recently, but I've used a simple sling that goes around your neck. The design of the carrying strap of this shoulder-armpit sling was a stroke of genius on the part of the inventor. I never realized he was there. I didn't use a thigh pad as my surgeon said I didn't need one because my…
