Well built and works great on my carpeted bedroom door. Easy to remove and put back. It is enough to make a couple of turns of the nut.

It doesn't suit me. I have a wooden floor in one door and a tile floor in the other door. In both cases, the foot glides across the floor and the door opens with ease.

May not fit a door that is close to the floor. Many exterior doors close snugly at the bottom. The product is well suited for doors with little space below, does not fit tightly and does not have a large gap, as is often the case with interior doors. I wasted my money as it doesn't work for my front or interior doors.

on the 3 doors I've tried it on, it only worked on 1 door, my bathroom door. I really don't need to lock myself in the bathroom. The threaded stem would be great if it was 3" or 4" longer to accommodate all the doors and go through the metal over the corner to the door. The aluminum it's made of is so thin I'm afraid it will hold up if someone kicks the door in.

I was very disappointed with this product. I am an HS teacher and bought this to protect my classroom door in case the lock is ever kicked by an active shooter. I placed it exactly as instructed, just under the doorknob behind the unlocked door, and one of my students (the little framed woman) came out to check it out. She pushed open the door and the part that goes under the door broke off.

Great idea with good finish and material just needs some work. If the door is more than 3/4 inch from the floor it will not work, the screw part is not long enough and screws directly out of the unit. I also want the (optional) rubber foot to stay securely in place. (Actually, a tangible rubber foot doesn't seem optional to me because without it, metal doesn't really stick to wood, tile, or carpet.) I wanted to like this product. It was small and seemed like a great idea. However, it just wasn't strong enough. After installing it properly and neatly, I pushed it a few times by simply rotating my hips and applying force to the door with my open palm. And to my surprise, the part that goes under the door is completely separate from the rest of the device.
