A product is only as good as its weakest link. In this particular situation, I had to cut the loop on the zipper with pliers to keep the tab from coming loose. This must be done with extreme care so as not to crush the slide. It only took the first 3 pulls of the zipper before the pull tab separated from the zipper. Once that was done, it worked great. And I haven't had any more problems in 2 months since it arrived.

Received my bag today (6/19/15) Product. Appears to be well made, locks open and lots of space , fast delivery Cons: leather doesn't look as good as pictured (first reason I chose this one and not "Admiral"), vinyl or plastic lining which was a crap (2- I'm the reason why I chose that option) I would return it but I'm going on holiday tomorrow Maybe I'm being picky Maybe But the picture shows a fancy fabric lining that should be replaced to show the actual photos and actual product.

So with all the comments I've been hesitating between this model and the Admiral model about their plastic coated skin. Then I noticed on the close-ups between them that this one (Venetia) was 2 pieces of leather along the entire length, while the Admiral was a single piece but cost less. So maybe I was thinking of the Admiral in Bolognese leather.
