Dorman 602 481 Windshield Wiper Transmission Review

Fits 1992 Toyota 4WD Pickup Truck. Decent quality and easy installation. The wiper arm works great except the pivot angle is more than a few degrees. The lower portion of the driver's side wiper blade falls under the windshield and rests against the window seal. The top of the wiper barely touches the vertical window seal. Basically I'm satisfied so far.

I don't understand how Revain can deliver across the country so quickly but I appreciate it! There are mounting flanges with self-tapping screws, but the screws don't tighten in metal that's too soft, so we've replaced them with stainless steel screws and nuts. The splined flange that attaches to the motor didn't fit perfectly, so we had to machine a hole. Repairs and conversions took more than two hours in the workshop. I'm wondering if this new gizmo will withstand the thirty years of service

My original wiper gear has given up the ghost, just in time as I have to prepare for the coming rainy season. I was thinking of going to the landfill and replacing it with another old part? Better safe than sorry, even if it cost me nearly $200, you can't risk driving in the rain without wipers. expanded about 1/16 inch to fit just right.
