Poor quality, use OE

. But after 3 weeks it fell off just like the original. Nothing prevented him, nothing prevented him from working. I don't know why it broke, but it's a common problem, even with original parts. I just wish this would last longer than a few weeks.

Pros
  • . Comfortable to use
Cons
  • . Slightly crumpled.

Say goodbye to the annoying Grand Cherokee 05-10 in one dashboard click

I used this on my '06 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had a rudder click behind the dash (middle). I put up with this for a long time, but in the end it wouldn't stop clicking for half an hour, after which it fell silent. Well it killed my ability to turn on the heating. I'm lucky because it's a faucet actuator which is very easy to access without taking the dash apart. All it took was a torx screwdriver and it could be swapped out in 5 minutes.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

It didn't work out of the box

I ordered this to replace the door panel actuator in my Jeep Grand Cherokee because the original gear broke. Nothing happened after removing the old actuator and replacing it with this new one. It just didn't work. I ended up opening up both drives and just kept the gears in this new one and put them in the old one. This fix seems to have worked for me. However, after opening the new drive, it seemed to me that the reason it wasn't working was that the motor was not receiving power. I just…

Fits perfectly, works perfectly.

Fits perfectly as long as it works well. To reset and calibrate all door motors with manual air conditioning/heating (not automatic temperature control) in WK-Series Jeeps: 1. Turn on the ignition.2. Turn the fan motor control (1) to the off position.3. Press and hold the EBL mode switch (2), then turn on the fan motor controller. Continue to hold the EBL mode switch until the EBL status light flashes. Then release the mode switch. While the test/function is running, the EBL status indicator…

very annoying. I took it off again, checked and lubed it.

Worked on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for 2 days. I replaced the air mode selector actuator because the original one didn't work in the defrost position, the vents on the dash wouldn't let air out. The air mode actuator is the hardest to reach as it is located just below and in front of the dash. It worked great for 2 days, then it would click very loudly every time I put it in the dash vent position and sometimes it wouldn't stop in other positions which was very annoying. I took it off again…

  • Stylish and modern design

Perfect replacement

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had an awful click, click, click when using the HVAC controls. (It sounded like a map in the spokes of a bicycle) Apparently there are 4 of these on my jeep. Through searching and listening, I found that 2 of me were responsible for my noise. I replaced 2 that were on the passenger side of the car. The first one was pretty easy (the one near the fan motor). The second was quite a difficult task as it required removing the center console, radio, HVAC controls cover…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • problem

Perfect for fixing that horrible rattling noise under my jeep dash!

A few years ago I disassembled the HVAC control system on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo to replace blown light bulbs (check out the YouTube video for part numbers if you have the same issue). When I put everything back together, my blended door motor made an eerie knocking noise whenever I switched one of the HVAC controls to something else. It will eventually work, but it will make that noise for the first 30 seconds (if you look at this item, you're most likely familiar with that noise).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
