ordered for the Expedition 98 5th 4th intended.

ordered for Expedition 98 5.4. was developed to replace failed quick couplings. This fitting was too large for the upper hoses that go through the fire wall. I think it's for the bottom connectors on the heater hose. Ordered 800-403 which fit perfectly.

Received as announced.

Received as advertised. The product was fine but I ended up not using it; It's just another plastic part that might fail in the future. It was safer to cut the remaining plastic mating connector off the metal tube and just use a stainless steel tie over the heater hose that was placed over the metal tube.

Will not fit 1998 F-150 as advertised.

Please Note: This part will not fit the 1998 F-150 as listed. Neither side snaps securely onto the nipples of the new heater core. Coolant was everywhere. Found a reviewer with the same issue and replaced it with part 800-403. Although it is stated not to fit the car, the alternative part fits perfectly and does not leak.

Don't think connecting the heater core hose to the intake manifold will work on a 2001 Ford Windstar.

I don't think this is the part you need when connecting the heater core hose to the intake manifold on a 2001 Ford Windstar. If you need a fitting to work from the 3/4" pipe coming out of the intake manifold to the 3/4" hose going to the heater core I would suggest a Gates fitting. Part #28502 The Gates connector worked for me and I have a separate review for that particular part.
