Short exhaust and emission life

Save money and invest in OEM parts. I bought this for my 09 Speed 3, it didn't even last a year before the car threw out the CEL. I bought a genuine spare part and couldn't get enough of it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

. goes to mazdaspeed 2nd generation, easy to install backwards

If that happens to mazdaspeed 2nd generation, it's easy to install backwards. They are trend-setting. Installing in reverse order will increase fuel consumption at idle.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Solving canister purge valve issues

The annoying check engine light is on showing a small leak in the vapor circulation system (Mazda CX-7). Swapped out the old bleed valve for this one (only about $20) and the light went out. Fast and cheap solution. Looks the same as the original Mazda valve but is three times cheaper.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • I will add later

It works but won't last.

I'm on the second. To be honest it works, but not as long as the OEM. Will I buy again? Maybe not. Update. Only lasted one oil interval. Now it leaks when moderate vacuum is applied and my 3 speed fuel trim has literally exploded. Take my word for it: don't skimp and buy the original, it'll cost you around $70 but keep your car safe. 0 stars if possible.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • almost everything is ok

Please check the plug before ordering!

I know this part is not technically correct for my car, but I bought this to replace the breather valve on my 2005 Mazda 3 with a 2.3L engine because of other reviewers stated it would fit and I didn't want to spend extra money on hoses I don't need. It didn't work on my machine, it's just that the connector is so different that it couldn't be plugged in. The Dorman 911-701 was also a perfect match for the Mazda 6.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Blank

Lost 36 km in 3 years but good price

Was CEL, did some research and found the culprit was the flush valve. I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. Replaced it in about 10 minutes and the CEL has since gone. I've ridden it about 1000km since replacing it. ** 3 YEARS UPDATE ** Purchased June 2015, retired September 2018; Defective after 3 years and 36,000 km. OEM part defective after 80,000 km. Rating dropped to 4 stars. Maybe 3 stars but I'll buy it again because $20 every 3 years isn't that bad. The OEM part costs $60.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Expensive

Cheap repair but not very durable

Having bought 4 of these (probably 1 every 20,000 miles) costs a breather valve on my Mazdaspeed 3. There aren't many options to work with here but if you need a bleeder valve, it will take you some time to blow it. Fixed: The last one I bought lasted a few months in the harsh summer heat. There's something about them that falls short when compared to an OEM device. So far I've gone through as many of them for the cost that an OEM unit would cost me. I've more or less given up on the Dorman…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Useless features
