P1456 Get Out! on parts

Perfect for the chord 98. There was a leak in the evaporator system so I flushed it out and just tons of smoke came out of the old valve. No more p1456!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great solution for my 1999 Honda Accord

This vent valve eliminated the horrible gas smell coming from the underside of my car. First I replaced the 2-way valve and the whole vapor canister. This worked for about a week. Then I replaced this element and for two months everything is fine. The price was much cheaper than the locals and the product was just right. Good product.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some problems

Don't waste your time!

This purge valve was purchased and installed on 15th November under my 00 contract code p1457. This was after replacing the petrol tank cap and carbon tank with shut-off valve. Keep getting check engine light with normal code. Just arrived from a Honda dealer - they say this valve doesn't work and charge $150 to have the stock relief valve fitted. I wish I could do that first instead of throwing details into the issue.

Pros
  • Annual trial
Cons
  • poorly thought out
