The tube is slightly bent/compressed to fit the box (I see others have complained about this as well). I found that just putting everything in hot water was enough. heat enough to "stretch" it into the right shape to fit the OEM washer fluid hose for my 2004 GMC Sierra. I hope I never have to replace this again, but I would recommend it to others.

Replacement for 99 GMC Sierra. It takes a different route than the original, so it only took the first and last fixer. Looked safe enough. After 9 months the hose popped out of the rubber knee at the end of the pump. I was able to put it back in, but it just popped out again as soon as I used the washing machine. I ended up putting a spring clip and rubber glue on the pipe before pushing it back into the rubber elbow.

It fit perfectly BUT before installing it I had to SOAK it in very hot water and reshape it as it was smaller packaging when shipped and out of shape was folded . It took a few soaks in near-boiling water to soften it enough to change its original shape without risking breaking or shrinking. After that, it really matched my 2005 Silverado truck perfectly. Security clearance required for registration.

Contrary to negative reviews, this is what you need. In the box, it's bent quite tightly, so it's easy to assume it's not the right part. Give it a bit of flexibility (I didn't have to soak it in hot water or use a lighter) and it should stretch to its correct size and shape. It's a tough tube, but it won't break if bent. The shape of the detail in the product description is not the same at all. I have already contacted Revain customer service twice regarding this and the third part was sent to me a month apart like the first two in the hope that the problem would be resolved. This washer hose has fitted Chevrolet Silverado for many years - mine is 2002. It goes from the windshield washer reservoir to the connector just behind the battery on the fender. Since it bends to fit in a standard shipping box, you'll need to adjust the bends. They need to be straightened slightly to about 90 degree arcs.
