Great replacement Cylinder

Through trial and error, I found that this replacement cylinder is perfect for my automotive needs .The installation was a breeze; I was able to replace the old cylinder without any issues. The performance is commendable and the transmission shift smoothly without any stickiness. The only downside i noted was that it came without instructions, but the installation is intuitive, so no major issues. Overall, an excellent product to buy for your transmission and drive train needs..

Pros
  • Dorman CS37788 Clutch Slave Cylinder is designed to fit and function like the original equipment part, ensuring proper performance and compatibility.
Cons
  • The product requires proper installation and may fail to function correctly if installed incorrectly.

Disappointing Quality for Automotive Part

After i put it to the test, I found this replacement part to be subpar. While it seemed to function alright at first, it quickly began to show signs of wear and tear .The poor quality is unacceptable for an automotive component and I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable replacement part..

Pros
  • Functioned initially
Cons
  • Poor quality and durability

Works but insanely strong return spring

Works but the return spring is insanely strong, took an extra hour to install as the T-outlet was supposed to push the return and I always thought something was wrong, remove the box, check all dims/properties, try again, something resists, repeat. Until I realized what it was. It's been running for a week now, no problems. Will report on long-term evaluation.

Pros
  • Slave cylinder
Cons
  • Not happy with everything
