Not working after 2 hours

Taking the time to install is really annoying. After 2 hours it leaked leaving me stranded. This part actually turns out to be very expensive after towing!

Pros
  • Excellent design

This slave cylinder is great and works perfectly

This slave cylinder is great and works perfectly. The only downer is that the bleed screw that came with it is cheap and rounded with little pressure, so I had to buy another one as soon as possible.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Good replacement for hydraulic components.

Aside from Nissan's questionable slave cylinder placement and orientation, which makes the system very difficult to bleed, my experience with these Dorman hydraulic units - and I've installed two sets - has been really great.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Expensive

Good value for money! Did what it should!

There was a sticky clutch blade that got stuck halfway. Just switched to this clutch slave cylinder. There were a few slips at first, the clutch blades were a bit slow to return to their original position, but after a few days the situation improved and now it's working fine! No more getting stuck!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Something else

If your G35 6MT has a sticky clutch pedal. .

If your G35 6MT has a stuck clutch pedal. Just get out of trouble. Replace clutch master and slave cylinders and complete stainless steel lines. Remove Factory Lines. This is the only way to permanently fix a stuck clutch pedal.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some problems

great performance with

Installed in 2005 Infiniti G-35 6-MT with factory direct exchange at 90,000 miles. At the same time, the fluid was updated to DOT 4. Fixed the problem with pedals sticking after warming up the car. Outstanding performance since then. 2,000 miles on the item now. Edit: No problems after a few months! very satisfied with the product

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Works perfectly! on Transmission & Drive Train

Bought this for my 2006 Nissan 350z Touring Edition to replace an old worn one. My clutch pedal wasn't returning properly and I don't think the adjuster rod would lock 100%, so I decided to swap out the master and slave cylinders and add a stainless steel braided clutch line. Seems to be working great so far. I will post an update in a few months.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

it will do the job but there are better

it will do the job but not sure how long they will last. I bought this first then bought Nabtesco as it looked more OEM didn't want to do the job twice. In comparison, the Nabtesco slave cylinder looks exactly like the original. Dorman looks cheaply made and finished. It had a cheap bleed screw that was a loose fit and didn't have grease on the inside of the rubber piston rod like the Nabtesco. Dorman is made in China, Nabtesco is made in Japan, the quality difference is like night and day. You
