I was looking for a fleece lined hat with ears. This hat met all my expectations and it was cute! I liked the fact that it doesn't itch or irritate when I wear it. Wore a hat in 30 degree weather while skating on a frozen lake (Lake Lowes, Alberta, Canada) and walking in the snow (Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park) and never worried about the cold. This hat arrived today (with free shipping) and looks great and fits well! I have a head circumference of 21.5 cm and it fits just right. It's not too tight or too loose. It will probably be too big for a young girl, but will fit an older child/teen or a child with a large head. The inside of the hat has sherpa lining until you get to the "dome" of the top.
