Those Chinese items suck. The connector of a headlight cable broke, I had to solder it. The other's alignment brackets do not match the insertion slots. Too bad I can't buy a Made in USA! UPDATE 3/4/21) PLUS, I just got kicked out of CHP for a red halo. They are ILLEGAL in California. I want my money back!

I like headlights but let me tell you what they can't do. I was planning to use a red halo for parking lights instead of drl. I connected the red to the position lights and the yellow to the turn signals. Ember didn't work. I sent them back. Received another set with the same problem. In short, the red halo must be on for the amber turn signal to work. So connect red as daytime running lights and your amber turn signal will work.

They are DOT approved. You can use them to avoid getting stopped as I saw someone say they got stopped because of this which is a lie. Cops, don't worry, don't be an idiot. My boyfriend bought them and he loves them. He said they are easy to install but you have to make sure they are installed correctly or there will be a fault in the cable and it will look like you have the wrong line. Just check your lines and turn on the light to adjust.

Looks great on my Jeep. Haven't ridden at night yet but hope they are as good as they look. I didn't like the instructions but I was able to find a video to help. I also didn't wire the turn signal to get this to work. I'm not good with electrics so disconnecting and connecting was easy. Update - after turning the headlights off and on for a few days I came back, I needed to connect the cable properly. I am over 50 years old and this was my first attempt at modifying my jeep. Ordered these for my 2003 TJ. The physical installation of the lights themselves was a simple task. The wiring was a bit more difficult. I connected them to the turn signals. However following the instructions by plugging into the ACC option in the under hood fuse box the DRLs stayed on all the time. Pretty frustrating as the instructions are not very detailed. I'm really impressed with these headlights, they look great. They are much brighter than the stock headlights on my 2016 JK Wrangler and I needed more light, especially on a rainy night. The facility wasn't bad. The only downside I have with this kit is that they don't include a green wire extension to connect to the turn signal power wire.
