No reason when you want to hang things on something stronger than jelly

These have to be the worst hangers I've ever seen. They're so flimsy and cheap, they bend and break on every wall I try them on. It's hard to avoid this product if you plan on hanging things on a real wall rather than a super soft surface. The image of banging them into the wall with a hammer is a complete lie. I wouldn't pay 99 cents for it let alone $10.

Not perfect but does the job.

As mentioned in some reviews these buttons bend easily. If you don't hit the wall with them squarely, they will bend and you'll have to use another one. I used mine to hang garlands around the room so I used 6 on the wall. I've had more than enough to make mistakes and have spare knobs and they look really good when in the wall; and also very strong when properly inserted into the wall. They are disappointing but beautiful. They also have less space than I thought; They hold less than a regular

Much better than other thumb buttons!

I volunteer at the Rogue Valley Pollinator project and am doing a complete overhaul of the entire office, lobby and work area. Hanging photos and posters is part of this renovation. These buttons have a slightly longer pin and are all metal. Not a single one was bent or broken even after being hit with a hammer.
