Dove Aluminum Deodorant 24 Hour Protection Review

Caused a rash/irritation in the crease under the pit and I had to keep reapplying it. I think that's the price we pay to improve our skin. :/ disappointed, I really thought it would work. I will still use Dove products but not this one because it didn't suit my skin, it smelled nice when I first applied it.

This stuff acts like a gel but doesn't feel super smooth after application. The smell is quite strong, so unless you have a light perfume, you probably won't smell it through your deodorant. I work quite physically but it will be a few hours before more is needed.

The only antiperspirant-free deodorant that doesn't flake the skin. I've tried other brands and they either smell funny when I sweat or cause skin reactions. This line of products doesn't, and they won't break the bank. However, I have yet to find an antiperspirant deodorant that doesn't need to be reapplied at some point throughout the day.

Dove deodorants with a fruity scent have been my favorites for ten years. BUT when I bought this pack of deodorant, I didn't realize that the lack of aluminum is more than just marketing and shouldn't really concern me anyway. I always use Dove White Cucumber Pencil deodorant and didn't know it was the wrong deodorant when I ordered it. It's an aluminum cardboard deodorant and looks more like a gel stick. I don't like gel pens as a personal preference. I also don't feel that they control sweat and odor well. I like its smell but I feel like I can smell the body faster using gel pens. I'd say I'm a pretty sweaty girl and should be more mindful of body odor, but for those who don't sweat that much, this could work…

The jury has not yet made a decision. I honestly don't know if I would buy this again. The smell is divine. It stays clean, leaves no marks on dark shirts. That's where the pros stop, though (aside from the obvious lack of aluminum). Aluminum doesn't particularly interest me, that's my open prejudice. I'm just tired of my razor rash and since every white pencil I've bought hasn't helped, why not try this? Buying this way was cheaper for me where I live. What if it didn't quite work? I literally
