Dove Refillable Deodorant Starter Kit: Aluminum-Free Sensitive Deodorant, 1.13 oz Review

I was very disappointed that it broke off the plug in the first week of use. I believe this is a design flaw. What should concern me, however, is that in 66 years of using deodorant, I've developed a body odor I've never experienced before from any brand I've ever used. I like the design and the concept but it didn't work for me.

I wanted to love it! But firstly, yes it's reusable, but it still has enough plastic in it. Second, it broke in the first few uses and is now unusable unless I have a drop of deodorant in hand to apply it, which is a mess. . You should get a solid design on this one. I'm not sure how Dove expected the little bits of deodorant that attach it to the mount would hold up. I won't buy again unless the bad design gets fixed.

The actual product is fine but the packaging was terrible. It was repackaged for an eco-friendly product and none of the packaging was eco-friendly except for a tiny piece inside that boasted about being biodegradable. Also, for some reason the aluminum piece was stuck in the box and it worked fine, but I can't get rid of the stickiness even a month after taking it out of the box. I received a deposit from another source and tried different ways to hold it. I found that holding the dispenser upright and swiping your finger up and down kept the deodorant intact.
