great lights! - Body and Fairing Kits

In this photo, the lights are fully tilted vertically and mounted 18 inches from the illuminated wall. I bought them to light (not yet installed) paintings in the hallway. They're so bright you'll need a dimmer if you use them in the hallway like I did.

Error in instruction

The instructions explain using a 2 3/4" hole saw which is too small, the junction box does not fit and the light is very narrow, a 3" hole saw must be used. The junction box is almost useless, clamp connectors are required for the power connection, which must be included! Note that the screws used to attach the PSU are very small and require a #1 tab, very difficult to work with and just need a better design.

Extra Bright Tiny Hinge with Screws Non UL Listed Non Dimmable

They're really bright and they hurt the eyes. Bought to highlight art objects on the walls. I would like the gimbal/pivot to swing more - next time I'll mount it closer to the wall so it doesn't hit my eyes. My ceiling is 9', I have about 30". The dimmer is on the way. I think if they push the bulb down a bit, wouldn't it blind you when you look up at the ceiling? So you need a tiny cross to Unscrewing the four tiny screws - why so small? Soft aluminum J-Box so beware. They're not UL approved…

Poor maintenance, short-lived light

First I bought three of these lights. They were easy to install and perfect for bringing more light into the hallway. One burned out after a few months. I couldn't find a replacement bulb so I ordered another one to replace the burned out one. I didn't think about it (sometimes products fail). Well then a new one came out and one of the first ones I bought started acting like a flashlight. At about $30 each, I checked out the listing on Revain. The year of the guarantee is in the description. I
