Attention buyers: Body

When I first bought this item (07/2019) I read the comments. Even though some of the comments said the gallon was watered down, I bought it anyway. I was upset when the package arrived and the seal was broken. Liquid everywhere. Luckily the other items in the box just needed to be rinsed out and there was nothing electronic in the box! I used most of the gallon as needed. Now it's time to refill! Decided to go back to smaller bottles. When they walked in, I was amazed at "how diluted" the…

something not so good for skin care

as other customers have said that it is very diluted. I was disappointed and vowed not to buy again but figured it would be better to use this huge bottle. It's 2 months in the bottle and the soap has started smelling like cooked turkey carcass (funny I know but if you know what that smells like that's TERRIBLE). I'm not sure what's going on with this, but maybe if it's actually diluted, as many people suspect, it could lead to bacterial growth because the pH is different than it should be? Who

We use it for everything!

Hand soap, foam soap and shampoos with essential oils, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, pet shampoo. you can even make a damn good car shampoo out of it. This list has no end. We always keep a few gallons around our house and at work. It's natural, gentle and effective. And above all environmentally friendly. Most commercial cleaners are gone. The recipe from Dr. Bronner is the "base" for many of our general cleaning recipes.

Works best in skin care products

I bought this soap for two reasons, first to use a milder hand soap. Other cleaning products with strong degreasers make my hands very dry. Now that I've been using this soap, I've noticed my hands are a lot less dry. Hooray. The second reason is that I now wash antique dishes and glass a lot and have ruined an old butter dish and a few glasses with ordinary dish soap. So far I haven't had any problems with this soap when washing antiques. Works well. I will probably also use this soap to make…

Supplied with seal broken, aftermarket product

Supplied with security seal broken. This is not acceptable for any product, but especially for cleaning. I have tried this product before, bought it from a big store and I can say that this version is not genuine. The consistency is not the same (diluted)

DO NOT BUY. THE PRODUCT IS DILUTED.

DO NOT BUY. Sold by Quirrom. I bought 2 liters. One came in a ziplock bag with a broken seal. Both appear to be significantly diluted. I have purchased this product many times directly from Dr. Bronner bought. I compared that 2 gallons to my remaining gallon from my previous order. The "soap" in this order is much lighter than previous orders from the manufacturer. You come back and I will come back to see Dr. Bronner to order.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Either way, a giant jug can come in handy when you buy one.

If you like this brand of soap, you will love buying them in bulk. I don't think a gallon is that much more expensive than buying the 32 ounce bottles individually so I just bought them. We mainly use this as hand soap. I sometimes use it as a dishwashing liquid, but only when I run out of what I usually use. I can't really speak to the rest of the usage. Since he recommends thinning it out a bit, I doubt I'll need to buy more soap for long.
