I've been using Baxter of California Exfoliating Bar Soap for about a year, but for $17 a bar I thought I would would check out the competition to save money (and feel like a chump for spending so much on a bar of soap). While there can be comparable deals under $17 for a Baxter bar, this soap isn't far behind. Leaves a rather unpleasant film on the skin. When you're done rinsing, run your finger down your forearm and you'll do something that squeaks/hangs on the skin. And no, that's not…

This soap cleans.

What can I say about this product? This is soap. does it clean me Yes. Said Nuff, didn't he? Well I'll take a look at some of the harsher reviews I've seen. One said it won't be long now. I'm a paramedic, I shower every day. Sometimes twice a day. This soap has lasted as long as any other regular soap. Another said it doesn't lather well. He foamed well for me. However, I suspect this may be related to the water quality in the faucet, so idk. Doesn't smell good said another review. I think it's

Effective advertising, but I won't become a regular customer.

Not bad but I wouldn't buy it again and here's why. Pros: * Great scents, although short-lived (pine tar is my favorite) * 100% natural * Supports small businesses (there are others) Cons: * Cost - they are much more expensive than other "manly" scented natural soaps. This is probably due to the high cost of advertising * Geometry - Large squares, which, when used later, lead to their premature destruction. There's a reason why literally every second bar of soap in the last century was the size

There is NO shelf life in this soap.

I am 53 years old and a practical person. My 14 year old LOVES the Dr. Squatch, so we bought him a gift set. About $42 for 5 bars. part of August. It's the first week of October and the soap is completely GONE. He showered an average of 8 times per bar of soap. showered 8 times. If his brother or I used it once, that's 10 showers per bar. (I'm just one of all 5 bars) Like I said, I'm a practical person and $42.00 for soap for 40-50 showers is utterly ridiculous. Sorry I just can't recommend…

HANDMADE SOAP SINGLE DOZENS.

Unless you buy Squatch Soap for $10 a bar that lasts 1 week. Handmade soap is not uncommon. It is not mined from the deepest sea trenches. It's not from the moon. It is not found in the fossilized eggs of extinct dinosaurs. This is ordinary handmade soap, smells nice but too expensive. Maybe they have to pay for YouTube video ads longer than 5 minutes?

My honest review. Complete breakdown.

After all the videos and ads I've seen on Facebook and YouTube. Decided to try this brand. I am in no way sponsored by anyone. I'm just a consumer giving honest feedback. I'll cover everything about soap, from the box to the shower conditioner and so on. Let us begin. Packaging: I give 4/5 stars. It's like any other big brand. It's cardboard and recycled I'm sure. It has a nice hard feel. Makes you forget you ordered soap. Good art for that. You can't do much with a box. Though I'd like it in a
