🌲 Dr. Squatch Pine Tar Soap 5-Pack Bundle: Natural Woodsy Scent, Exfoliating Scrub, Handmade with Organic Oils - Made in the USA (5 Bar Set) Review

While this product smelled nice, there were a few things I couldn't get past: First, this soap only lasted about 10 days. This is unacceptable for the soap I paid nine dollars for. Second, this soap was very dry on my skin. Even worse than over-the-counter soaps like Dove and Again, I can't justify paying $10 for a bar of soap that lasts 10 days, smells normal, and dries out my skin. I returned the item a week after receiving it. I will not buy this brand again.

My husband has dry, itchy skin and wanted to try pine tar soap. Like most men, he doesn't like girls' soaps that smell or feel greasy or too dry. He got it for Christmas and tried it on and loved how it left his skin clean, exfoliated but not dry and had a slightly masculine scent. He asked me to buy him something on Amazon and I found another brand that looked similar but was a little cheaper and bought it for him. This pine tar soap is awesome. I would give it five stars but for a reason. For the longest time since its release I had absolutely no complaints about it. For the last 2-5 packs I've bought, each bar fell apart into small pieces after the third shower. They must have changed something in their production but they have to fix it because it's an expensive soap. If it happens again I will never buy again because it's just a waste of money if it happens and I know I'm not the only one.

Ordered a mix of 3 packs one of which was pine tar. I liked it very much. Intense fragrance, great soap/foam, lasts about 3 weeks. I ordered 5 packs. Nothing like OG. Reminds the smell of pine resin, almost no foam (foam) and completely disperses and breaks into pieces in a week of use. I'm not an idiot. most of time. I liked the promotional video and decided to try the product. I started using pine resin and immediately realized that this was a real deal and also that everything was Dr. Squatch will be top notch. Leaves you clean with no soap residue and smells great. Since then I've signed up for two random bars of soap a month and got my Cedar Citrus and Crisp IPA today so I look forward to each month. I love the fact that this is an artisan approach to making soap and is handmade right here in the USA…
