More padding and comfort than I was hoping for

These will be my water and hiking sandals for my upcoming trip to the Galapagos. Right out of the box I feel like I can walk in it all day. They are perfect for what I want!

Pros
  • My son is very happy with these sandals
Cons
  • Poor quality material

Little toes sticking out sideways

The first time I bought sandals that looked like hard toe shoes. Immediately after putting them on I noticed that the toe box felt tight but figured they just needed to be pushed through to stretch a bit. After walking for a few minutes I found (very uncomfortable) that my pinky fingers were sticking out between the two front parts of the bridge that attach to the sole, constantly trying to bring those toes back behind the front bridge. After about 10-15 minutes of shopping with my wife, my…

I have 2 extra pairs in my closet.

First of all, I live in Southern California and rarely wear shoes other than sandals. I've worn many different types of sandals and I have a book to write about them all ;) These are my mid-height shoes. Comfortable enough for a 5 mile walk down fire road. And they fell apart today after less than a month of use. That's a different picture. I really hope this gets fixed…

Excellent hiking sandals

I wear hiking sandals 75% of the time on hikes in temperatures above 60F. I typically spend $100 or more on big brands and they last a year or two. In recent years, the quality and comfort of these sandals have deteriorated to the point where they last maybe two months. These sandals fit great, are very comfortable and look well made. Time will tell how long they last. I'm very picky when it comes to camping gear. But for the price if they last 6 months I still have the edge. So far I've ridden
