These adorable ballet flats go perfectly with the dress we wore them with. It really should be a 5 star rating. The only reason this slipper gets 3 stars is because it doesn't last long. After my granddaughter took it off there was no heel support. The foot kept slipping out and the cardboard supports were too weak for children's shoes. Otherwise, this shoe is very attractive!

It doesn't feel like running shoe cushioning, but you can definitely feel the soft foam underfoot. The elastic is attached to the inside of the shoe, not just the edge, so my daughter's foot, despite being narrower than the shoe itself, stays in place.
