I bought my son gray fur zipped boots. I bought these because of the zipper so they are easy to put on and take off and of course it is a lot easier to put on and take off the baby. I also find that the zip is more secure in the snow as the velcro sometimes clogs with snow and loses grip. I really want to give these boots five stars because they are cute (so cute), warm, well fitting, sensible and well made but There is one of the main disadvantages. They are waterproof and non-waterproof. When we live in the upper Midwest, we might have warm days when the snow melts and turns to wet mud, but we also live in frigid temperatures just as quickly. No insulation protects a wet foot from frostbite in extremely cold temperatures. I wouldn't pay attention to that if the boots dry…
