I bought this product a few months ago as a Christmas present for my son so I cannot replace or return it. The first thing I did after my son opened his new game was try to put the protective covers on. If your son is an exuberant 5 year old then this is a must see. When I first bought it I was a little paranoid that everything was cheaply made and would break too easily. When it came out, I tested the USB charging cable and it worked great, the same goes for the USB memory card adapter, car charger and headphone splitter.
