I was looking for a salad shaker that is easy to clean and has a lid that doesn't leak. That's all. I haven't tried the juicer because I already have one. Great little product, feels good in the hand. Very durable.

I don't know what happened but it warped and became unusable when I washed it on the top rack of the dishwasher. I've used and washed it several times with no problems and I've been happy with the product.

From time to time I find a product that has a great design and timeless quality. This is a superbly designed, high quality product that works great. I've bought three and already gifted one to grateful friends. My compliments to the designer and manufacturer.

Great idea! The problem lies in the internal screw of the piece. Sometimes it unscrews along with the outer screw cap, meaning I'm pouring my dressing out of a wide-mouth jar. Not the biggest thing. Sometimes I can't unscrew the inside when I want to add ingredients. Today I had to put fresh thyme and chopped garlic into the jar through the small hole inside. Annoying!

Having used this device for over a year I know exactly how to rate it. It is designed to work with a variety of ingredients other than base oil and vinegar, pepper and salt. only 8 ounce capacity. I take on the chopping of garlic buds and use salt and pepper, which I hand grind only for the dressing. If my recipe calls for 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1/4 cup water, it makes up to 12 ounces with vinegar and oil. It's more work if the shaker only holds 8 oz.

This topping shaker is just the perfect size, doesn't leak and pours well! I first bought it while traveling but now I use it all the time because I like it more than my others - - I always take food with me when I travel so we can get used to healthy eating and the right portion sizes. Sometimes when we eat at restaurants, I get my own salad dressing in this shaker — I make all my salad dressings from scratch, so I'm spoiled for fresh ingredients.
