Dripstone CAT5E Ethernet Cable 24AWG Review

I regret my purchase. Had to spend a few extra bucks to upgrade all the copper wiring. I had so many problems with this cable that I threw it away after only using about 20% of the box. First, it comes unassembled from the packaging. Second, the wires in the cable are thin and delicate. So if you plan to run this cable through walls, any small snag can damage the cable. Finally, the cables inside are so thin that I often had to crimp the connector, and still it all depends on how the wind blows

This cable seems to be as good as any copper plated 24" CAT5e aluminum cable I've bought. The stripe on the white twisted pairs could be a little lighter so you can see it better through the RJ45 connector. I made some 30 foot cables and some 3 foot jumper cables. I tested them all with internet speed tests and found no difference between their speeds and the factory connection cable. I can't tell how much loss there will be on longer runs, if any.
