I have a pattern that uses a half cross with 4 strands in many places instead of the full cross with 2 strands as usual. Aida 14 counts. It's almost impossible to thread 8 strands (4 doubles) through the strands on the back of my work to start or stop a color just with my fingers. The needle is too smooth. Put in these needle pullers.
