When using spandex or other fabrics that just won't stay in place I usually use this tape and it always helps. This is especially useful when you need to sew a very narrow hem and don't want to fiddle with pins to hold things in place. You simply stick the tape where you want the fabric to hold and then sew accordingly. And that's almost all. The tape will dissolve over time and your needles won't get stuck. That's so important. The only way I would rate it better would be if it were free. I'm new to sewers, mostly making camping and hiking gear and mostly working with slippery ripstop nylon and sewing velcro and grosgrain onto things. So my stuff doesn't have to look very pretty, but it has to work. and sometimes using this magic product to save time and tedious pinning, pinning and pinning is a wonderful moment. If my cash position was better I would use this all the time. As it stands, it's a fine luxury for me.
