Suitable for use on dark and light fabrics. Ideal for marking darts, pleats, buttonholes, and other pattern or design markings. Test pencil on swatch of fabric you will be using to be sure marks can be removed. Water soluble, remove marks with damp cloth. Avoid pressing over marks before they are removed completely.

Great Marking Pencils for Arts and Crafts

Based on my experience, these retractable marking pencils are perfect for any arts and crafts project. They glide smoothly on fabric and paper, leaving bold, clear lines. The retractable feature also makes them convenient to use without worrying about sharpening. The only downside is that they may not be suitable for lighter materials. Overall, a great addition to my sewing notions collection for all my scrapbooking and stamping needs.

Pros
  • Easy to use and retractable feature makes it convenient to use.
Cons
  • Can leave faint or smudged marks on certain fabrics which can be difficult to remove.

Doesn't work

This pin is almost invisible on the fabric I'm using. The white was terrible and the blue wasn't much better. Won't buy this again.

Pros
  • Sewing Tools
Cons
  • Obsolete
