Good concept but bad design. Whatever you do, the shadow will fall right where you need the light. It also doesn't unravel the seams very well.

I love the seam ripper! Both the light and the magnifying glass make it easy to make sure you're not tearing the fabric, just snipping the threads. Especially if you work with white threads and white fabric!

I am visually impaired so a ripper with light and magnifying glass was just what I wanted. This one doesn't work as well as I had hoped. I just never get around to increasing the stitch no matter how I adjust it. It's still better than the little one that came with my sewing machine.

It's so handy. I cross stitch, which means I'll rip the stitches over time. It's usually pretty hard to see those tiny crosses, but it was awesome. It was cheaper here than other places I checked. The light is also very cool. Also, it came in my favorite color. 😊

I really wanted to like this. I really did. The handle fits my hand well. The light worked well and a magnifying glass came in handy. However, the most important function of the ripper is to cut the thread, and this device simply did not perform that. I had to go back to my old cheap tiny grip ripper just to get through the thread. A brand new ripper should be sharp. In fact, I forcibly broke the thread, not cut it. Unacceptable.
