Drywall and Plastering Taping Knife - 12x3 Inches Review

Great knife for first time wallpaper. The handle is very comfortable, I've washed and used this knife about 15-20 times and it's the same as the first time. No rust, no noticeable creases, no wear anywhere. Excellent quality!

My last 12" Marshalltown drywall blade lasted over 25 years. Just this month I pulled it back to prepare the wall for painting the blade. All of my Marshalltown products have served me well. I hope my new 12 inch knife lasts as long as my first one. Very happy with the quality of this product.

I'm not a professional drywall installer but I've done quite a bit and appreciate quality tools. This is one of them. Comfortable grip, good construction and stainless steel so rusting is not a problem. Arrived on time and well packaged. A big plus that it's made in the USA! Marshalltown is a legacy company that hasn't outsourced manufacturing, which is reason enough to buy this brand.

Unfortunately, Marshalltown appears to be moving most of its operations overseas. So I'm not sure if this model is still made here, but when I bought it it was made in the USA, that was early 2015. The blade is made of high quality stainless steel and the tool is comfortable to use. I have no doubt that this is a professional tool. I would buy it again although I doubt I'll need it based on previous experience with this company's tools.

I have ordered several stainless steel Marshalltown taping knives from Revain. All but one arrived in perfect condition and the seller refunded me for what was bent. It was a UPS error. It was packaged well, but apparently a fall right on the corner bent the blade slightly. Other than that, it's a great tool. A good rubber grip feels better in the hand than the hard plastic grip of some other products. The blades have optimal flexibility, excellent taper and cutting edge and are stain and rust…

I recently took on a DIY drywall project. I've only done minimal drywall in the past, mostly just patching. After watching a few videos I decided I could!
