Description of DSLRKIT Gigabit 48V 30watt PoE Injector Adapter: Power Over Ethernet 802.3at af for UBNT AP with 1000Mbps Speed

Raspberry Pi 3B+ can work with this poe injector after installed this PoE hat or micro USB PoE Splitter. This injector lets you power 802.3af compatible devices, with no additional adapter needed. Just plug the network cable(not included) into your network switch and into the "Data In" port, then plug the cable to your device into the "PoE" port with your existing network cable. This Adapter support 10/100/1000Mbps gigabit ethernet connection, RJ45 PoE port using 4,5,7,8 pin as power transfer, Please do not connect any device that does not support the "PoE" port, this will damage your device. This is an 802.3af compatible device, but it does NOT include the 802.3af/802.3at compliant detection feature. It supplies power NO MATTER WHAT, so don't plug the "PoE" side into anything that isn't ready for it. Compatible all 802.3af PoE power device as Wireless Access Point, IP Phone, IP camera, Gateway , Switch, or More..

Works great for computers and accessories

They work great. Better than using these power adapters on VoIP phones if the user doesn't want to use a PoE switch. Yes, I plan to buy more. Started when I was 10, I have 2.

Great value for money, excellent dealer/seller

Arrived dead, dead dead. LED doesn't light up, no output, nothing. I have other POE power supplies from DSLRkit and they are very inexpensive and work fine for their functions. Have contacted the seller. They refunded my money immediately without question. Also, Amazon sent me a replacement. Hopefully this unit was just defective or damaged in shipping. Update: Received replacement and works perfectly as expected.

Works without problems

Another POE injector has failed. Bought this as a replacement. Worked without any problems. I'm going to buy a few more as spares now.

Pros
  • Network adapter
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Just what I need for network adapters

I bought this to replace one that was not gigabit. At the moment I don't have a way to test the throughput. But I needed a way to provide ethernet and power to the remote camera so it didn't require an outlet or Wi-Fi. This was the only component in the solution that worked properly. It works correctly with a 48-5V DC POE splitter (ASIN: B0838BMP4S) feeding an Amcrest IP4M-1051B camera (ASIN: B07J224T84) and everything works correctly: network pass-through, POE status, lights and camera with no
