Dublin Childs Paddock Girls' Shoes with Laced Foundation Review

When these boots arrived and I slipped my feet in, I was concerned at first that I had ordered a size too small because they felt ridiculously tight! My fingers fit perfectly though so I figured leather is leather and leather stretches so I took a chance and started wearing them. After two days they were comfortable except for the stiffness in the heel so I just wear thick socks. I've only had them for a week and I haven't tried them in the water. But aesthetically these are attractive boots.

These are the worst paddock boots I have ever owned. I would give no stars if this option was available. Although the boots appeared to be a regular size 9, the top of the boots cut into the top of my toes just before the start of the laces and I got a huge blister on the back of my left heel when I put them on for the first time. . The second time I put them on I got a blister on my right heel but luckily I didn't wear them long enough to see another big blister. The tops of my legs were sore…

No no no. They look good on the outside but inside they looked like they were designed by someone who has never worn boots. No lining, no support, rock hard outsole. Plenty of room from side to side in the foot area but it stung me at the top of the foot as I wasn't hoping to add insoles, oops!

These boots are really big. I'm actually a size 10½, but the size 10 was very roomy and slipped over the heel. Compared to the boots I've been riding in for years, I wasn't impressed with either the leather or the sole. I love Dublin caps but the boots don't fit me. I have bursitis and the like and it's still too wide.

Bought these for my daughter when she became a groom. She reports that they were warm, comfortable and durable. Survived extreme cold, wet, mud and gravel, the advance of a horse and countless hours of shoveling. You know. The days of her stablehands are over and she would like to be able to carry them on, but they smell very... . Hm, you know.

Very good boots and well constructed. They were just too roomy around my legs. I would have to wear very thick socks to fit me. I'm a standard size 8 so I was a little surprised at the overall fit.

Really good boots! Not too hard. It was comfortable when first put on - had to wear thick socks - otherwise it would be uncomfortable without socks. Excellent price. Fits perfectly. Looks like more expensive leather boots. Very happy!

Very stylish leather boots. The leather is a bit rough, so I use a leather softener. Leg panel offers excellent support.

There is a small piece of leather - a small loop - through which the laces pass before wrapping around the hooks to close the boot. The loop on the left boot was partially torn. I think maybe someone bought them, damaged them and returned them. I didn't want to return them but was surprised by this defect as the company is known for quality shoes/boots etc.

I just want to say that these boots were beautiful and good quality. My foot is very difficult to adjust. Unfortunately I had to return these boots but I was so sad. A really nice addition to the quality is that the lace up boots had a small stretchy gusset at the back to allow the boot to be more flexible. The leather was of excellent quality. Too bad they didn't fit.

I am very disappointed with this test. I bought 3 pairs of boots and they were all different. Nobody succeeded! I ordered a 6.5 and they sent me a 5.5 even though the boots said 'Europe 36', they were too tight in my arch and they dig into my heel so definitely too small! I thought if a size 36 would fit I would try 37 and 37.5 but they are both way too big not to mention the design of ALL three was slightly different and some had a cushioned insole while others did had flat insoles. One of the laces broke after only 3 weeks of use. I contacted the company directly and asked for a replacement. I was told that new laces would not be sent and that I would have to buy them myself. I know the laces aren't expensive, but the fact that the boots are essentially new and already falling apart makes me wonder how long it will take something like the boot tightening to heal. Great riding boots for my daughter. She was taking riding lessons and needed good shoes. Since they are laced up, they are as secure as she needs to be. Leather and seams are strong and elastic. You look great too!

I wanted a pair of boots that were versatile, comfortable, and arch supportive. These boots fit so well, right out of the box. DO NOT hack them! I needed something durable when I ride my bike and they keep my feet warm and protected. Now I want to wear them because they are so comfortable. Whether shopping or riding, I highly recommend these boots. Looking for a pair for my husband.

I don't like the fact that the toes are narrower than other boots I've bought due to the uncomfortable fit. I took the boots to a shoe repair shop and they used rubber bands on the toes so I could wear the boots. Think twice about this purchase.

I ordered these for my granddaughter for her riding lessons and shows. She had a partner who was passed down by two other girls in their barn. I figured if other kids had used them over the years they would suit her well. So I ordered them!

These boots are perfect! They are well made, comfortable and beautiful! I think it's steak! What good boots at a reasonable more than reasonable price! I love them and would definitely buy them again.

I really liked this boot, especially for the price. Great quality but had to send back as it was too big. I usually get a 6 and sometimes a 5.5 but the smallest was a 6. They were too big and had to be returned. I could probably use even 5. It's a shame because they were very good boots.

My daughter uses them in the stable and for riding. They are comfortable, she likes that she can adjust the tightness of the lacing (as opposed to a zipper) and the leather is of good quality.
