It might be a weird way to use them, but it worked.

My feet tend to get colder than the rest of my body, especially at night, resulting in leg cramps. Adding more duvets to the whole bed made it too hot to sleep comfortably. I cut one of these in half and placed them between the top sheet and comforters. Problem solved, no more leg cramps, no more loss of sleep.

Pros
  • Size 52" x 84"
Cons
  • Crumpled

Also great for wildcat survival!

These mylar blankets make a great car emergency kit (I have them in both cars). I also recently ordered a few extras and put one in a covered feral cat box I made for a stray cat - just put some straw on a mylar blanket (no towels or blankets that can hold moisture) and it will keep feral cats distant . freeze to death!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

They will definitely keep you warm!

I bought 10 and gave 7 away to others Tried one on my top sheet Not good, cooked! Tried over a blanket, too hot again! I have a second duvet that I rarely use but keep there on cold days, so I taped it over the top of this duvet. Perfect! When it's cold I pull it about halfway over my shoulders, the only bad thing is I get warm and fall asleep. Then you wake up drenched in sweat! So as soon as I'm warm enough, I'll pull it back! and I'm really happy with it!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Works great during a movie night on a winter cruise

Large, slightly transparent, metallic sheen, extra light rescue blanket. It keeps me warm when I wrap myself in it. I used a rubber band to roll it up. I take this product with me when I travel "just in case" something goes wrong. This emergency blanket was purchased for a winter night cruise when the wind is cold but I want to watch a movie outside. I put a couple of ship's towels on it and suddenly I feel warm and toasty and I don't lose valuable luggage space. I lived "up north", one of…
