Eat your wheat flakes, boys.

I really like this product, but I have to say that it was not easy to plug in in a weatherproof house. It took a lot of lubrication, time, patience and effort. Now that it's here it's great and I've been using it for about a year with no problems.

Disappointingly good for plugs, sockets and sockets

It would be a great product if it weren't for the retaining ring. It's thin and nestles so snugly against the yellow rubber case that it's difficult to turn once it's all assembled. Luckily I bought this to make a spare cable and won't be relying solely on it. I still hope to get more value for my money. Spend a little more and get a better product.

  • Power and Electricity
Cons

Cheaper than buying a new cable!

If you can use a #2 Phillips socket and a little force to displace the yellow grommet, BUY it and learn the basics of wiring. I've looked everywhere for a 30 amp spare after driving two miles with my trailer still plugged in at the campsite. My only advice is to try and slide down the yellow sleeve. I took three popsicle sticks and placed them under the yellow lid. Make sure two of these are where the notches are on the hard plastic part so it will lift and slide.

Pros
  • Plugs, Inlets, and Sockets
